My journey began way back in the late 80’s and early 90’s, when I could be found living in black leggings, Doc Marten boots and tie dye tops, with a bedroom painted black and full of suns and moons, and the whiff of patchouli oil following me everywhere! I have always been drawn to the mystical and mysterious. I became an archaeologist by the end of the 90’s and spent many happy years connecting with the ground and our ancestors through digging. Now I am a busy mum of four, and I find myself missing my grounding in nature and my unwavering fascination with the past, a simpler time where superstition and spirituality blended into one. My journey into witchcraft seemed almost inevitable!

So, what are “Spooky scoops”? The idea came about from a popular social media trend of lucky scoops, where you pay a fixed amount and get a lucky dip style haul of prizes. I love a good game, and searched for something that suited me so I could join in, but there was nothing that catered to my tastes. So I decided to try and create my own, and I’ve had such fun doing it!

To join in, all you need to do is add a spooky scoop to your basket, and either choose your live, or you will be booked on to the next live show. You will receive an e-mail or text confirming your booking. Then join me on Facebook to see me scoop for you! You will be able to pick from two options, a craft option or a witchcraft option, so you can personalize it to your tastes. There are also a number of mini games within the main game to add to the excitement!

Snails and slugs

If you find a potion item in your scoop, you will receive a bonus item of your choice from the selection board

Bonus Skulls

When we open the blind bag containing your item, if you find a bonus skull inside you will receive one more. There is no limit on the number of bonus skulls you can win per scoop!

Frog or toad

Should you be lucky enough to find a frog in your scoop, you will receive a special prize from the Frog list! But beware, some toads have snuck into the cauldron… If somewhere deep in the brew, something cold and warty nudges the fingertip of fate… You’ve found a toad!! You will have to swap one item of your choice to the opposing category.
